There is a beautiful spring rose today.
Helleborus orientalis is one of the lenten roses. The word "Lenz" stands for spring and
 implies a spring bloom, roughly from February to April. Helleborus orientalis originally
 come from Turkey and the Caucasus region. There, the evergreen plants survive the
 cold season  under the snow before flowering in spring. They impress with colored
 flowers in pink, red and white, some of which are exotically spotted.
